Programmed Buttons not following VAR

Post by Steve Horsfall » 02 Mar 2019, 04:52

I programmed a spare button on the Yoke to Increase and Decrease the AP by 500 feet. It was working well until now. The altitude increases and decreases by 10,000 feet!. I deleted the buttons and programmed again. Still the same.

I changed the variable to 50 feet and the AP jumps by 1000!

any ideas :?

You say it was working. Do you have the backup profile file you can go back to? Did it just stop working all of the sudden?

So, interesting, 500 jumps by 10,000 and 50 jumps by 1,000? Just curious if Parameter: 25 will jump by 500!

What Sim are you using?

Using FSX-Steam. Was working for the last few months, then suddenly went crazy. Also the bug heading on the HSI jumps by about 10 deg instead of 1 when I use the FIP knob. If I use the AP knob all is ok. I do have an old profile backup, i will give that go.
