Performance data (PC)

Post by thedazman » 26 Dec 2016, 11:57

Hi, I've been asked to design a gauge to display VAS usage, which isn't a bad idea, are you able to provide system variables like VAS, mem, cpu usage (total and individual cores) etc? I know FPS was added as this was available in simconnect, but are you able to capture system data as vars?

I could then add this data to the FPS gauge and rename to system performance gauge displaying different dials and digital outputs

Access to performance and system data is already possible, but not available to public. I reserve the right to keep those internal and create some 'complete edition' gauges.

Thanks for asking for me.
I shall treat myself to the ball compass from Daz instead and await in hope that c0nnex releases a VAS gauge for us complete owners :)

I need a VAS gauge myself now, I've been running into issues when SLEW'ing a lot. I didn't realize it loaded Scenery and didn't unload it to free RAM and then just runs out !!!

If anyone knows of a SIMCONNECT command to get FSX/P3D to dump it's loaded Scenery from RAM, do let me know

That's a real hard one. I do, however, have a perpetual motion machine, and am quite willing to sell it very cheap. :D

I'm using it to power my car, but I can always build more.

Sadly, that's not even available in the latest Prepar3d. :(
