Do not know how much control you have over the display?
Can you please look to see if you can split the upper and lower lines of the display in ALT & VS modes where it displays 2 lines. So they can be configured like the Left and Right displays on the radio Panel.

The current implementation handles each selector position as one display.
With the Conditions in 0.9 you are able to change the values displayed depending on conditions.
E.g. for VS-Display: if Selector = alt then display Ground Elevation [in VS line]
If the selector is in ALT or VS Position both Display-Conditions are active.
In all other positions only the Selector-Position-Display is active.
Due to limitations of the device, the second line is displayed only in ALT and VS Position. Also the "prefix" is not changeable.
