I'm looking for a way to add a couple keyboards to my system but to have FSX pick them up as separate devices. The only way I know to do this is with a program called HID Marco. It will basically turn multiple keyboards into different devices allowing you to program different functions in each keyboard. Since I'm using SPAD.Next for all my devices I was wondering if this could be done? What I'm doing is creating a keyboard overhead panel for my PMDG fleet and would like to keep one keyboard for basic FSX commands and the "overhead" keyboard for overhead panel functions.
Thanks,
Keith

Re: Keyboards as Controller
Generally this can be done. Every attached device is accessible for SPAD.neXt. Right now it's just implemented for Joysticks/Gamepads.
I'll add it to the todo list, and have a look when the current performance problems with joysticks are solved.

Re: Keyboards as Controller
I also look forward to this as the keyboard control CPU makes a very cheap USB input board.

Re: Keyboards as Controller
One thing to watch is some PC's still use PS2 interface for the keyboard.

Re: Keyboards as Controller
SPAD.neXt will just support additional USB Keyboards, not the "System Default". All you want to do with the "System Default" keyboard can already be done with the keyboard macros for a long time in SPAD.neXt....
