Hi all,
I would like to create a realistic transponder similar to one you would find in a single engine prop. The transponder needs to have a display and control of the corresponding modes (OFF, ON, STBY, ALT, TEST). I was thinking of doing this using the Saitek Radio panel as follows:
- use one of the two displays for displaying the code
- use the SELECTOR switch (left) to implement the transponder functions and map the switch positions as follows:
XPDR = OFF
DME = ON
ADF = STBY
NAV 2 = ALT
NAV 1 = TEST
...however, I have a feeling that this is not possible, as the selector switch is not programmable. Do I understand correctly?
Any help or other ideas on how to implement a realistic transponder are more than welcome.
Thanks!

Re: Program Selector switch
That's possible, you will have to program the stuff into the corresponding Selector Modes, as every mode is a difrfrent "eventset"
