I got a request for supporting X-Plane 10.
Any comments on that? Who of you would use it?
Please take part in the poll!
- Vote YES , if you actively use X-Plane, and would like to see SPAD.neXt support it .
- Vote NO, if you actively use X-Plane, but are happy with the Saitek-Support it has.
- Vote I don't care , if you are not using X-Plane at all, or don't care at all

I own a copy of XP10 but never installed it. I would only consider using XPlane if PMDG starting making their aircraft for it. I know they are testing one now so we will see.

I have X-Plane, but voted no because FSX is better and don't want final 5th and LAST PANEL support delayed any longer

Lol
X-Plane support (if implemented) will not happen before all saitek-hardware is supported.
So most likely not this year anymore.

when you are bored and all else done and if there's enough interest then knock yourself out. While x-plane is ok, with all the add-on and scenery adjustments I had made to FSX there was no comparison. Out of the box they are very comparable. So I'm not really slating X-Plane. When I encountered grey screen clouds bug I turned it off.

I'm more than a little ambivalent towards the X-Plane 10 vs FSX/Prepar3d.
I'd bought X-Plane 10 when it came out, and found that at the time it didn't support SPAD or my Saitek equipment.
If it had, I might have stuck with it for a while.
However, in the end I would have still chosen FSX over X-Plane.
I know that X-Plane can now use Saitek equipment, but I just don't care.
Prepar3d V3 is working perfectly on my system, and I wouldn't even consider X-Plane again.
From your standpoint though, if SPAD.neXt turns out well then a SPAD.neXt for X-Plane could be an added opportunity.

I vote "I do not care" as I have tried X-Plane and did not like it and have too much invested in FSX.
Also to hard to teach an old dog new tricks (been with Flight sim since SubLogic on TRS-80).
But other my want it.

Yeah, that's how the poll should be seen:
- Vote YES , if you actively use X-Plane, and would like to see SPAD.neXt support it .
- Vote NO, if you actively use X-Plane, but are happy with the Saitek-Support it has.
- Vote I don't care , if you are not usuing X-Plane at all.
It makes no sense to Vote yes or no, if you don't even use the product....
That would be like "Do you enjoy to drive the new BMW? And you say yesm but never drove it and don't even own a drivers license ...)
A similar poll will be opened for DCS.

So difficult for me to vote. I have x-plane (which for reasons I cannot yet explain -as I am a new simmer- for me feels more realistic) and prepar3d en FSX steam edition. I still have to make a choice but I think it is a good idea to support x-plane after Januari 2016 when SPAR.neXT development for fsx has come to an end (see latest info on roaddmap:
http://www.fsgs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1462).
There must be an audience for SPAD.neXT in combination with x-plane out there...I think....an audience which are no members yet of this forum....and do not vote....
