What’s the largest number of devices connected to single PC USB2.0 port ?
Perhaps you are maxing out the USB transfer speeds. Also what is the amp rating of your hub power supply unit? And how many devices of the hub. If more than one hub then list number of devices on each and provide amp rating of each hub power supply.

1 FIP directly in the PC
USB port#1
I do have 1 FIP in the USB 2.0 port on a 5V/4A and two saitek panels out of seven slots.
But I even tried the FIP‘s in the PC‘s two USB 2.0 ports, but to no avail.
USB port#2
I do have the 5 steering devices (A320 yoke, saitek yoke, A320 throttle unit, Saitek throttle unit & saitek pedals connected. 12v/3A.
….but one question:
Which procedure do you follow to fire up the system:
Spad.next first or MSFS first
do you minimize Spad.next or just keep the window in the back?
I am asking, because the app seems to fall asleep after a while and stops responding.
I even tried to give the app more cpu priority.
any ideas?
cheers
and thank you so much for your effort!!!
Spad.next support seems to have given up on me;-)
Cheers
Wolfgang

Re: MSFS<->SPAD.neXt: delayed response of FIP and inputs on Saitek panels
Would never mess with app priorities, just makes things worse. I leave SPAD running in background and I’m running 13 FIP’s ok.
MSFS eats CPU, so either you have a problem with your USB or CPU. But never had SPAD stop responding, but if messing with apps priorities then you are asking for apps to fall over.
I have no other suggestions for you other then disconnect all your hardware and add one at a time till things start to fail, your reaching system limits some where
