I'm using the Saitek Switch Panel with SPAD, and using MS FS2020. I'm running into a rather annoying issue where the gear lever will move the gear lever in the sim, even when it's not mapped to do so.
This is a problem, because I want to use that particular gear lever as a parking brake handle.
Is there any reason why the hardware gear lever manipulates the in-game gear lever even when it's not mapped to do so? If so, how would I remedy the issue?
Thanks!

Re: Gear lever functions even when not mapped
When you say it not mapped if you are only checking SPAD.neXt it may still be mapped in the SIM it self.

Re: Gear lever functions even when not mapped
Hi, thanks for the reply. How would that be possible though? The Saitek Switch Panel doesn't even show up as a configurable controller in MS FS2020 controller options. How would I go about clearing any assignments?
Thanks.

Re: Gear lever functions even when not mapped
One thing to try is not loading SPAD.neXt and start the sim and see if you still have control.
This will tell you if the problem is with SPAD or some where else.

Re: Gear lever functions even when not mapped
Good thought. I launched without SPAD, and the Saitek Switch panel does indeed function without it, after I launch the sim.
I guess the question now is what 3rd party program could be interfering? Or if the sim itself is somehow keymapping things.

Re: Gear lever functions even when not mapped
You know what. I think I resolved the issue. I deleted a plugin folder that was under my Logitech folder. Once I did that, no more conflict. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.RiverSkyHigh wrote: ↑21 Mar 2021, 05:58Good thought.
