BIP Gear Unsafe

Post by SmiffyRebel » 03 Dec 2020, 10:21

Since the latest update the GEAR UNSAFE snippet no longer works on the Saitek BIP panel, the gear unsafe indicator stays on all the time once it has been activated and does not go off even if the gear unsafe commands are deleted

Might need to adjust the condition. I found sometime the gear doesn’t go to 0 or 100% so set to 1-99%.

I can’t remember the exact condition code but pull the thresholds in slightly on each end of the check

You need to check all condition against actual output.

There should be an off if = 0 or =100 should be able to nudge the condition values.

I had same issue with my BIP gauge and had to adjust the thresholds slightly.

Let me know if still having issues and I’ll check those snippets on my Saitek BIP panel, pretty certain my unsafe goes out again think this is because car doesn’t go to 0 but goes to a long decimal like 0.000241246

It would seem that the OFF command is not working properly, if you add a second action "BIP Row 3 Col 8 to GREEN" in the "actions to be executed" window it briefly goes green and then goes OFF

I've now found that the eng oil temp snippet does not work properly, I wonder how many others there are
