When I boot up my computer, all of my six Saitek/Logitech FIPs power on but SPAD.next says that none of them are working. Power cyling the USB hub they are connected to doesn't solve anything. The only thing that seems to work is to (1) turn on the computer and then (2) plug in each FID one at a time, about 5-10s apart.
I'm sure this is a FAQ but I'm having trouble searching the forums for this topic.

Re: FIP Flakiness
FIP hub should be powered down after PC shuts down and should be powered up before starting PC if at any point the FIP try to run solely on PC usb power they will crash. Powering down the hub won’t reboot them. You have to disconnect each fip from the hub while the hub is still powered. And restart SPAD. FIPs must be mains powered at all times never turn if hub power while PC is on.
Also if you have 6 FIPs on one hub the hub power supply needs to be rated 3a or more 500mA per port/FIP
