FIP Page Buttons Problem
Not sure if this is the correct place to report this problem. I have just downloaded and installed the latest SPAD Next update and have also updated all my FIP Gauges ,com gauges, my problem is when I try to change the gauge using the buttons at the center and bottom of the Saitek FIP unit the gaugees do not change on that unit but they do change on the unit that precedes it.
Cheers

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
Check the Fip up/down button behaviour in SPAD->settings->devices->Fip. None of my gauges use the buttons

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
You could change gauges using these buttons before the upgrade. Also if these buttons do not work on your gauges why do they change gauges on the FIP Next to it (eg FIP 06 changes gauges on FIP 05)

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
One for SPAD to answer. Up down buttons not coded in gauge software.

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
I suspect you have programmed events on the buttons saved in the profile which are referencing the wrong fips.
Buttons should have no programming on them at all (normally)

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
Problem solved, my fip's were labeled FIP 01 to FIP 07, I have renamed them FIP A to FIP G, also the command on the next and previous gauge buttons attatch themselves to the gauge and not the saitek fip, that means that you have to program the command for the buttons for each loaded gauge
Hope that makes sense.

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
Glad you sorted it.
While it is possible to program up down button events, none of my gauges are programmed to use them for anything other than the SPAD defaults.
I recommend deleting any events saved on the Up down buttons and you won’t have issues where the button code doesn’t match your fip names. If the buttons have no events SPAD will automatically gauge up down on the current fip.

Re: FIP Page Buttons Problem
It seems the problem is still there. After loading P3D v4.5 this morning I find that the problem is still there although yesterday afternoon it was working fine also the Global Variables gauge reverts to default settings when you reload spad next and the simulator this did not happen before the upgrades
