Post by renestor » 27 Feb 2019, 15:52

Hello, just after take off, when retracting the gear with my saitek switch panel, the aircraft systems turn off, the engines keep running but every screens and switch turn off, I am using one of the online profiles, this does not happen all the time, but had happen a couple of times, I dont know if someone has had the same issue and what can be done to correct it, thanks.

Prior to using the Gear handle -- did you press any of the other switches?? I ask because the way the switch panel will work is that it will send all of the "commands" when the first operation is done.

So if say you had the Avionics switch tied to a panel switch that that controls this and you started up your sim....never moved a switch on the panel (but had the Avionics switch in the OFF position) well then when you moved the Gear handle it would then also set the state of the other switches as well.

I found this would happen to me a bunch....So I always make sure to set all the switches to the "off" position before I load into the Plane.

Or in my case have a script panel read the switch states of every hardware control and set the sim to match the hardware states. That way everything is in perfect sync.

I believe the sending of switch data on first control activation can be turned of in the panel setting page
