Wont Load "SPAD.neXt has stopped working"

Hi,

I can't run this at all.
Windows XP 64 bit
.net 4.5.1
There's lots of errors in the log files. Can I send you the logs ?

Also

Does SPAD.neXt work outside Flight Simulators ? ie does keyboard emulation work to any windows app/Games like Elite Dangerous
I use SPAD for FSX mostly, but would love a driver which allows the keyboard emulation to work in any active app. The keyboard emulation on the old SPAD only worked to the flight Sim, I've tried setting keyboard emulation on it and nothing happened. I was hoping a re-developed SPAD driver would allow usage off the hardware outside specific flight Sims.

You can attach the log to this thread ( zip it if > 250 KB) or email it to c0nnex AT fsgs.com

SPAD.neXt will be able to send Key-presses to any active window, and you will be able to select the target window explicit, so the target window doesn't need to be active.
This is however not implemented yet.

Hi, thanks.

I just sent you a copy off the log (15k) to the e-mail address you provided. Hopefully you can see what's causing it to crash.

I tried running as admin and in most compatibility modes, but all suffered the same crash

Turns out the .NET files UIAutomationCore.dll file in the Windows/systemWOW folder was toast, probably as a result of some bug fixes for FSX that required changing it.

I've restored a backup of the files I kept (lucky or smart !!) and SPAD now works a treat. Thank you.

I had some issues with the multi panel nobs but I had to strip down the unit to fix dodgy hardware, though it was a software issue at first, so thanks for baring with me while I dust of my old clunky panels
