Panels screen go to sleep

Post by Zappovitz » 20 Jan 2017, 23:25

Hi.

My saitek panels seem to go into sleep or powersaving mode after some time.

I am not sure if its due to the latest update or that I now use Win7.

I have also moved them to a USB HUB, but it only seems to apply to panels and not FIPs on the same USB HUB.

That's a function of modern" computer power savings.

How to turn off power savings for Windows 7 - Copied off the internet.

In the Device Manager dialog box, expand Universal Serial Bus controllers,
right-click USB Root Hub, and then click Properties.

In the USB Root Hub Properties dialog box, click the Power Management tab.

The Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box is displayed.

You may have several USB Root Hubs. Do this for all of them.
1 Saitek Switch Panel, 1 Radio Panel, 1 Multi Panel, 1 BIP, 1 FIP,
1 Saitek Rudder Pedal,
1 Saitek Throttle, 1 Saitek TPM, 1 Desktop Aviator GPS, 1 CH Yoke

Also make sure "Selective Suspend" is off for your Enegry Profile.
