can someone please tell me what I need to do to get my 172 in Xplane 11 to chage level when I push the ALT button??

Tried all sorts but so far no result

ALT is usually just ALT Hold... If you then adjust the ALTS (altitude Select) you still need to tell it how to get there.... ie FLC/IAS modes or VS Mode and then dial in the Speed of those....
