New user needs some help

Hi,

purchased and then upgraded to the complete edition, amazing piece of software, it will make my panels so much more useful! Now, I'm slowly getting the hang of it, but Is there any complete reference / manual available, besides the 'Getting Started' pdf in the installation directory? I thought I read in some post here that there's something on the spadnext web site, but I couldn't find anything...

Right now the most confusing subject for me is shortmode/longmode, as I still don't really understand what this exactly is and how it's used (and there is no mention of it at all in the PDF). Is it simply shortmode=a short button press which lights up the button permanently and activates 'shortmode', and another short press of the button turns off the light and deactivates shortmode? And in a similar manner, longmode = long buttons press with blinking light etc...?

If so, then what's the difference between the 'shortmode activated' event and 'short button press' ?

Any info greatly appreciated !
