SPAD.neXt

If SPAD.neXt cannot connect to MS Flightsimulator 2020, you will need to tell it to allow conections.

NOTE: The Configuration Wizard of SPAD.next has currently a problem with testing the connection.
(Edit: Installer has been updated and should detect fine now)
If a SimConnect.XML is existing at the location, do not replace it. Just skip the test and you should be fine.
If you are fine can be identified by the bottom statusline in SPAD.neXt
it should say "Simulation: Kittyhawk" (That's the MS Codename for MS Filightsimulator)

if no simconnect.xml is existing at the following locations, drop the attached SimConnect.xml into

MS Store / XBox GamePass Version:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

Steam Version:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator

Hi, is anybody else missing the Microsoft.FlightSimulator folder in their Packages folder. The sim runs ok but without being able to put the simconnect.xml in the folder means SPAD can't connect to FS2020.

%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator

The folder you suggested to install the SimConnect.xml file already has a like file in place which is really populated. If you copy your file into that folder it will delete the existing SimConnect.xml file. With that in mind, is there any data in your .xml file that can be copied to the existing file??

You only need to replace the existing file if the connection to the sim is NOT working.
In case you replace it, always make a backup copy

I replaced the existing SimConnect.xml file and restarted MSFS2020 but unfortunately SPAD.neXt is still timing out when trying to connect.

Hello, I followed the instructions for the Steam install, but I still get Connection Timeout when I run the wizard. I have FS running and I am in a flight.

I do not own the Steam version so i cannot check myself.
