New MS Flight Sim support vs. SPAD.next Edition question

Hello

I would like to ask if the new MS Flight Simulator support, that was announced in the thread here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=48533 , will be a part of the FSX/P3D Edition, or if it will be a new separate edition?

I don't remember announcing support for MSFS2020. The announcement is not MSFS2020 related.

I cannot say anything about MSFS2020 yet. As far as i can tell, from what has been publicy announced, it will support an updated simconnect.
Depending on the work that has to be done to get it running I will decide if it will be provided as free update to the FSX/P3D Edition or a sperate addon.
It will be part of the complete edition independed of other decisions.

More news on that topic will be made available as soon as possible (and allowed by NDA's and stuff)

If any of you was picked for the MSFS 2020 Tech Alpha 1 , please head over to our Discord and message me, to get access to the SPAD.neXt Alpha for MSFS2020 testing.

Currently all availble pre-test slots are filled.

The current Version of SPAD.neXt basically support's MSFS2020 already. If you start SPAD.neXt when MSFS is running, SPAD.neXt should recognize it and most of the stuff will be working as expected.
There will be a post about what is to be expected to be supported by SPAD.neXt apart from the basic SimConnect as soon as possible.
