Saitek Multi Panel with MCJ Q400

Hi,
I'm trying to map all buttons of Multi Panel to the Q400 AFCS system panel but I'm struggling with the VS button. Q400 has two VS mode: VS and PITCH HOLD. In VariablesMap.xlsx I see AFCS_->inputs.mode_button that seems to be the candidate to set the current vertical mode. I'm trying to use it without any success.
Do someone done this mapping successfully?
