any help would be appreciated Thanks
I did search for this topic under FIP Labels and could not find anything, so if this question has already been asked I apologise

Re: FIP Labels
Currently only a few gauges (namely those by fipgauges.com) support dynamic labeling.
I'll inlcude in the next update to be able "force" labeling, by simply overwriting the gauge-Image if that's what you want ...

Re: FIP Labels
Makes sense for SPAD.neXt to provide labelling when labelling is not supported by legacy gauges. Can't expect the general public to re-code their gauges.
The beauty of allowing gauge designers to code it means, font's, sizes and position can be calibrated specifically for the individual gauges and off course saved in the gauge opposed to being saved in the profile.
Are you planning to...
1) provide font sytle selection
2) font size
3) font colour
4) fine tuning position
I'm assuming labels created in SPAD.neXt will be saved in the profile so fixed to the physical FIP and not where the gauge is loaded? or are you planning to code some how to follow the gauge ?

Re: FIP Labels
1) Yes , but only fonts installed on the system
2) Yes
3) Yes
4) Yes
The Label-Information will be saved in the profile, bound to the Device-Gauge-Combination.

Re: FIP Labels
Look forward to beta testing.
Thought you needed gauges to have an ID to link to saved settings?

Re: FIP Labels
The ID is needed for e.g. gauge-scoped-variables.thedazman wrote: Thought you needed gauges to have an ID to link to saved settings?
it's not necessary for stuff saved to the profile, since it's saved in the section belonging to that gauge.
Change/remove gauge -> labels will be gone.
