Add Datarefs

Post by Raphael » 30 Jan 2019, 03:19

Hi I have some datarefs that I am trying to insert into spad next and for some reason when I click add new local variable and paste the dataref I need to use, all the "/" bars turn into "_" (underlines) and consequently the command doesn't work. Any ideas?
Thank you

To add custom X-PLANE datarefs / commands to SPAD.neXt, create Commands.txt / Datarefs.txt in the same directory as the X-Plance Airplance (acf file) and add them there according to the X-Plane specifications.
The X-Plane Plugin will read those files when that aircraft is loaded and "inform" SPAD.neXt about them.

Thank you so much for the reply. I managed to get everything done!
I have another question I think you might be able to help me.
I would like to use my radio panel, on NAV1 function, the frequency on the left side and the course selector on the right side, however, I would like to use the same silver knobs for both functions, changing the frequencies and the course, by pressing the ACT/STBY button, so if I press it once it flips the silver knob to adjust either the frequency or the course. Is that possible?
Thank you again

Yes that possible by using Local Variables.
Have the Act/Stby button change a Local variable. (e.g. toggle between 0 and 1)
Then add tuner turn events with conditions checking that variable
