A2A & FSLabs

Post by JackSwyr » 06 Jun 2018, 01:32

Can anyone tell this very new newbie how to get SPAD to see my A2A planes and the FSLabs A320 in the aircraft list?

I read the manual, and even installed LVAR (whatever that is) and I still don't see those planes in the list when I tell it to repopulate the list.

Thanks a lot.

Hi
When the plane is run in P3d you should get a notification in spadnext about using a profile. Save a new profile and then start to program it. The next time that plane is used the profile will automatically land. Which A2A planes are you using, and have you checked the online profiles.

Hi and thanks. I wonder why this forum doesn’t give me email notifications despite my telling it to?

Anyway, I saw that happen. I haven’t tried an online one because I don’t use panels and none of them really applied to me.

But why won’t it show A2A and FLSabs in the aircraft list when I refresh it?

Also, I read the manual and installed LVAR but have no idea what LVAR is or what it does.

And why do I always get a green bar with words saying SPAD next needs your attention? When I give it my attention I don’t see anything that needs tending to.

Thanks very much for replying

Lvars are Local Variables. Most of the higher end add on planes implement these so that they can store data for the state of items that may not be covered by the stock Sim variables in SimConnect.

ie -- a PMDG 777 has 3 Landing Light switches. So you can control them independently than say the Stock 737 where the landing light single switch moves all 3 together.

Follow this guy on youtube -- or just watch the videos he did. Maybe they can give you some point of reference to start from.

Wow! Thank you for answering! I thought this forum was inactive.

I don't know why I don't get email notifications though.

What about A2A and FSLabs not showing when I tell it to re-populate the aircraft list?

Thanks!

Not sure I can answer that. might have to do with where those planes install themselves to. I don't own any A2A and I would not install an FSLabs plane if you bought it for me and then PAID me to install it. They are some F'd up dudes. The sh*t they are pulling with installing password Stealing tools and hiding other apps in other directories. Not cool.

I agree, as soon as Aerosoft releases their A320 it's getting binned and I will never buy a thing fro them again. I'll make sure to remove all traces of them from my PC. I don't see them serving those legal battles anyway.
