Poll: Seperation of Datadirectories
To make SPAD.neXt non-Administrator-Privileged compatible the next update will separate the dynamic data/configurations from the main software.
This means configurations/profiles/gauges/logs etc will no longer be in the installation directory but at a different location.
This poll is to determine what is the best / most wanted option for this:
A
Put all data into %APPDATA%\SPAD.neXt
B
Put configuration data into %APPDATA%\SPAD.neXt
Put logfiles, profiles , gauges in My Documents\SPAD.neXt
C
Put all data at a selectable location , default to %APPDATA%\SPAD.neXt
D
Put configuration data at a selectable location , default to %APPDATA%\SPAD.neXt
Put logfiles, profiles , gauges at a selectable location, default to My Documents\SPAD.neXt
Please participate in the poll, so I can select the best option for all/most of you.

Re: Poll: Seperation of Datadirectories
I don't have the necessary computer skills to make a valid choice. And I want simplicity, simplicity and more simplicity. Please keep it simple.

Re: Poll: Seperation of Datadirectories
I prefere B.
C and D gives the user a choice to place stuff in the "wrong" place and make asking for logfiles more difficult in support cases.
B is better than A if your backup software is protecting your profil but not %appdata%.

It will store everything that is "internal" and "unimportant" at a place not visible to you,
but store everything that is needed to backup etc. in your "My Documents"
Re: Poll: Seperation of Datadirectories
I am also of the opinion that it should be as easy as possible.
