activation information

Post by LouP73 » 12 Nov 2017, 02:57

Hi People,

So the SSD with my windows 7 OS died and needed to replace it. Since I lost all my registry and all my program data anyway, I figured I would upgrade to Windows 10 in the process of fixing the PC. Does anyone know if the activation information is anywhere in your account information? Right now my SPAD.next has me in a trial period even though I purchased a license.

Thanks,
LouP

Hi Connex,

I can't find anything in my e-mail except for forum registration requests. Who specifically would the e-mail come from. I do not see it in my simmarket account either.

Hi again,

I figured this out by digging through a lot of information and logging into my account at Avangate. I have no e-mails from Avangate. May I suggest that If anyone else runs into this issue, just tell them to log into their account at Avangate and not look for e-mails. It's not difficult once you know that.

Have a great day,
LouP

For what it's worth.....

Normally, I'll burn a copy to a CD/DVD of anything that I buy. I'll also make a screen shot of the web page that I bought it from, including any passwords, serial numbers, registration.

Do I do EVERYTIME? Like anyone else, I sometimes forget. :D

But it has saved me MANY times when the seller only lets you download a product a certain number of times, or within a certain time period.
