Definitive installation guide?

Hi
I have just the instrument panel for a cessna currently (well and the throttle and yoke too). I was using Saitek software before I happened upon this most excellent piece of software.
I've sort of got it working, but there are some things that don't work... What I was wondering is if there is a definitive set of instructions on how to use this? i.e. - install prepar3d, install saitek drivers, install saitek software, install fsuipc, install spad.next, configure etc.

Reason for asking is that I get some odd results and I want to be sure that it's not me cocking things up by being a numpty before submitting error reports

Not a complete answer but a comment.

You do not need the Saitek drivers or Saitek software.
SPAD.neXt replaces those (and I even think they could make things worse if combined with SPAD.neXt).

Hi,

do _NOT_ install the Saitek Driver. Deinstall them again if you installed them.
They will interfer with SPAD.neXt.

I fell foul of this yesterday after installing FIP drivers it installed Panel drivers too !! argh. I had to rename the driver app to stop it loading. fortunately the FIP and Panel drivers use a different excutible.

but I've not used the Saitek panel drivers EVER

There's always plently of help on the forums, once you've checked/removed manufactures drivers

Perfect - thanks all.
I'm in the process of rebuilding my Operating system using the FSX build Bible and then installing FSX and Prepar3d. I will give this a go after I get that.
