Multi Panel Display

Post by Rusty10 » 17 Oct 2015, 09:43

Hi

Anyone have any idea what the command is to sync the ALT/HDG/IAS/HDG/CRS values of the MFP with the display on the unit?

All mine currently display 0 and looking at the profile(s) the display is set to 'unconfigured'

Many thanks :)

If you look at or copy the "base profiles" you get a working config which you can modify to match your particular needs. It's much simpler than start from zero.

Mnay thanks for the reply :)

It looks as though my issue is actually with the PMDG NGX pre-configured profiles?

Still not having any luck syncing the aircraft A/P displays and the Multi Panel, anyone else having this issue with the NGX?

Cheers

Have you checked with the "default - PMDG 737" Profile?
Did the config wizard detect the correct Servicepack for the NGX?

Please attach your profile and a logfile

From the logs I would say the SDK within the PMDG is not enabled. No Values are coming for the 737 from the sim.
Did you restart P3D after the Wizard enabled the SDK in the PMDG? (Between first and second log :-D )

OK success!

Thanks c0nnex for pointing me in the right direction, OK if anyone else needs this info'

Ran the Config Wizard however, the 737NGX_Options.ini was not being updated to enable the SDK:

\n[SDK]\nEnableDataBroadcast=1\n

Chnged to:

[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1

All readouts and button lights now working! Not sure if there is a bug with the wizard or a permissions issue with the PMDG 737 NGX root folder?

Cheers
