SpadNext freezes when starting engine

Have any of you simmers using the Logitech Switch Panel encounter this? The moment I turn the START knob to "Start", SpadNext freezes. After about 1 1/2 minutes the app then closes (despite selecting under options not to close). This is repeatable every time. Happens using the C172 and the C172 G1000 versions in MSFS. Even if I use the keyboard's CNTRL+E to autostart the engines SpadNext freezes.
FYI, I have submitted a trouble ticket a week ago but want to hear if any other simmers encountered this behavior? Thought of re-installing SpadNext but it works flawlessly in P3Dv5. I am trying some on line profiles you guys have posted and see if any other aircraft have this issue.
