Hello,

I'd like to connect a potentiometer with Leobodnar BU0836X USB card, in order to dimmer pfd display brightness in aerosoft a320.
But in spad.next I can set each entry as switch on/off, simple button or pushbutton.
How can I use the potentiometer for dimmering?

Fabrizio

Hi Fabrizio,
You would use one of the 8 analog inputs more info is on there web site.

http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php ... cts_id=180
Then click on the Instructions tab.

Thank you Oz, I was wondering how to operate on spad.next side. What kind of action should I use?

The potentiometer will appear as an axis in spad.next which you can control a slider and will give a value of -16384 to +16384 depending on position.
You will need to find the dimming variable of the a320 and then use the axis value and adjust this to the span and direction of the dimming variable.
It will take some time looking thru the simconnect, fsuipc or LVAR variables to find the right one!
Also spad has some other axis tricks like range so you can set discrete steps or position eg turn off is axis below -16000
