A neat and clean digital readout.
There ARE ways to have your flight sim interact with 7 segment displays. http://www.simviation.com/phpupload/uploads/1489885239.jpg But so far, none that I like. If you want to try it, MobiFlight , has had some success, but I don't want all that many programs running outside of Prepar3d & SPAD.neXt ...

Re: Arduino controller - Building a GPS
THANK YOU, DAZ! You've made my day. :D It's great to see someone else making their own Instruments. And considering how much a it cost if you buy one, a GPS is a great place to start. Also, you've done a great job with the bevel around the monitor screen. I was afraid to even try that. For those thi...

Re: Arduino controler
Ulrich, you've done an incredible job, and I can wait. Most of what I would like to do with an Arduino (button, switches, encoders) works perfectly well with SPAD.neXt as is. Reading sim data (AGL, Flap angle, etc) and displaying it on LEDs would be good enough. What I'd like to display can already ...

Re: Arduino controler
I'm happy to see that someone else here is actively using these things. While waiting, I tried out a couple of programs that interface the Arduino and a flight sim. One, called Link2FS , does work but it has a few problems. Chief among them is the guy who started it, stopped developing it about 3 ye...

Re: 3X22" Monitors VS 2X27" Monitors
I also have three 22 inch monitors, so let me suggest something. Change your video display settings to just 2 monitors. Center your chair on the two monitors. Take off, circle, and come in for a landing. What do you see blocking your view of the runway as you come in to land? The bezels. If that's o...

Re: Arduino controller - Building a GPS
Are you going the complete, self contained, route?
Got the buttons, rotary encoder?
My backlit On/Off switch for the monitor isn't necessary, but I think that it looks great.
It's a 12 volt switch for cars, but it lights up well enough with 5 volts.

Re: certificate revoked
I'm writing this from within Firefox, No problems, no warnings. That type of an error is usually an anti-virus warning tied into your browser, and is frequently seen on sites that have program/network codeing. Why you have it under Firefox and not Internet Explorer I don't know. Do you still have it...

Re: Arduino controler
Hi, Ulrich.
I'm not pushing, but I'm wondering if you are still interested in using the Arduinos.
I know that you have a "to do" chart somewhere, but I was unable to find it.
