Re: Saitek Pro Yoke Stuck in Mode 2

Hi Ken,

Still waiting back to hear about the warranty but I'm not too worried. I've basically gone ahead and reprogrammed to Mode 2. I've also started using the programmable button FIPS for my Saitek panels and that's really helpful. Hopefully I'll be back flying tomorrow!

Cheers mate

Re: Saitek Pro Yoke Stuck in Mode 2

Thanks guys, I reckon my options are 1. Try for a warranty replacement (only had it since July), 2. Give Steve's Operation Yoke Repair a go (not hugely confident there!) or just program around it. Problem is that 90% of my settings are in Mode 1 and now it's stuck on 2. Annoying but survivable. I'm ...

Saitek Pro Yoke Stuck in Mode 2

G'day everyone, I've been using the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke for a while now, happily programming it with Spad.Next and just today it is stuck in Mode 2. No amount of dialling the switch changes anything and I've tried powering it off and on several times to no avail. All the other functions seem to w...

Mapping only partially working

Hi everyone, I've been mapping switches in my Flight1 King AIr using the LVAR values with some success. My problem is that with some switches (for example the Engine Start), I can get the switch to move in the virtual cockpit via Spad.Next but there is no "click" sound and nothing happens, in this c...

Re: Mapping non standard switches

Hi c0nnex, Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I'm still not sure how to do this. I can see the LVAR value in the list of Data Monitor events but can't figure out how to assign it to a switch. When I go to the Controls section of SPAD.Next, select the button I want to program, Add Even...

Mapping non standard switches

Hi all, Firstly although I've been using Spad.Next for a few months now I'm a newbie to the more advanced features. So apologies if these are "dumb" questions. I'm flying (and loving) Flight 1's B200 King Air and have setup many of the virtual switches to be mapped to my Saitek hardware. I'd like to...

Re: Saitek FID problem

Problem solved!

It was the old drivers and once I disabled the Logitech Direct Output service and uninstalled the other Logitech install software it all works like it should. You guys are the best!

Cheers

Re: Saitek FID problem

Hi Hazza,

I'm not sure how to tell exactly but I'm guessing they are in USB 2.0 ports as they all seem to work ok without Spad.Next, just running FSX natively.
