Re: Client vs no client PC

I run only an i7 with just an RTX 1080 (lucky you getting a new card) and 12 FIPs. I run my fips of a second pc but only because I have twelve. When I had six I never noticed an difference And only a very slight difference with 12. I would say try them on the new PC as standalone you shouldn’t notic...

Re: Saitek BIP Panel Revamped

Worse case you can put my BIPv2 gauge on a FIP, I prefer my BIP on a FIP because it’s all custom in software, no printing (12 plates per FIP). Then there’s the Streamdeck support coming which is very much like a custom BIP. eBay is probably your best bet if you want a BIP right now. I only do BIP Pl...

Re: Saitek BIP Panel Revamped

Been printing custom BIP templates for years only now I have 3D printed blank tile plates that you can just slide a negative print on photo paper into the plate. :-)

Re: FIP Flakiness

FIP hub should be powered down after PC shuts down and should be powered up before starting PC if at any point the FIP try to run solely on PC usb power they will crash. Powering down the hub won’t reboot them. You have to disconnect each fip from the hub while the hub is still powered. And restart ...

Re: fipgauges.com and xplane 11: please help

No x-plane customer has reported the fuel gauge showing no output and pretty sure this would be working for stock aircraft. I don’t use one variable I use 12 variables... FUEL TANK LEFT MAIN LEVEL,PERCENT FUEL TANK RIGHT MAIN LEVEL,PERCENT FUEL TANK LEFT AUX LEVEL,PERCENT FUEL TANK RIGHT AUX LEVEL,P...

Re: FIPS Messed up again

thanks for the windows font bug work around update, will see if I can reproduce the issue. Been a pain for a very long time. Hopefully it wont keep randomly defaulting to a system font any more :-)

It happened I guess when LOTS of gauges using the same LCD font are loaded.

Re: Massif drop to 5-10 fps.

It will work..... Point worth noting was prior to the release on the 18th, the pre-release beta from MS did not have this bug. As a MS beta tester I can confirm SPAD works flawlessly in MSFS until MS introduced the bug on the release date. There are thousands of us in the Same boat, some of us havin...

Re: Last action Executes on Startup

You should use door/exit simconnect variables to open close that way you don’t need to know the current state or you would need to add the condition to check if the door is open before sending a simulation event toggle Search door or exit in the variable lists I think they work as a percentage 0 bei...

Re: Tom Tsui FIP's

SPAD doesn’t work with Saitek driver, SPAD is a replacement for the Saitek driver, manufacturers software driver need to be removed or disabled When using SPAD or you will have lots of problems

Re: Tom Tsui FIP's

Thanks cOnnex, I am trying to work up the courage to do as you suggest. I had my FIPs working perfect and the panels kind of working okay with the exception of the Annunciator which didn't/doesn't work at all. I downloaded a supposed Saitek driver fix (??) from the XP org that caused my FIPs to ran...
