Re: Advice of hardware power

I’ve been using a 20 port hub with a 20a! Power supply never had any issues my self when no underpowered. Generally two things can cause this 1) the hub is underpowered, if less than 500ma Times the number of ports 4x 500ma = 2000ma or 2amps 2) the pc is turned on before the hub power is turned on s...

Re: Advice of hardware power

Sorry might have mis read the tech specs

You might get 500mah on a port with PSU but doesn’t say if you can get 500mah on all ports at the same time.

Your PSU needs to be rated 2a or better, what’s the rating on the PSU?

Also make sure hub is powered BEFORE turning on the computer

Re: Advice of hardware power

According the the tech specs of your new hub it’s WAY underpowered. Specs say max 100mah per port and you need 500mah per port and that hub is max 500mah for the entire hub! As mentioned on the posts above you need a PSU that is rated 500mah per device. For 4 devices you need a 2000mah or 2amp power...

Re: Data Monitor and removing unwanted LVARs

Still the sort by activity would be useful I agree with you as would a block delete. Sorry didn’t mean to cut of your suggestion.

I do tend to switch monitors when looking for events I’m trying to capture a specific LVAR though

:-)

Re: Data Monitor and removing unwanted LVARs

Data monitor is only really designed to look at the variables YOU specifically selected, so it’s doing exactly what you’ve asked it ;-)

Are you not better off using the event monitor to capture changing events? that’s what it’s for

Re: Data Monitor and removing unwanted LVARs

No way that I know of to remove multiple selections. You can remove individual entries.

You can save the data monitor variables list and manually edit it

There are no filters but I often use sort by value to help my look for activity

Re: Advice of hardware power

Just make sure the power supply for the hub is great or equal to 500 mah per device. So if 4 items make sure it’s 2amp psi or better. Most hub come under powered any 2.0 hub will do as long as the psu is good enough

Im sure your mistake will be rectified soon and a mistake you made is hardly urgent, no?

Re: Mapping only partially working

I also came across this issue with the PMDG 737 NGX, some LVARS simply work the virtual cockpit graphic animations but don't do the function. This is as Lesoreilly stated, it's just a case of picking the right simulation event to send or picking the right data value to change.
