Re: new to this

I use SPAD.next on both p3dv4 and FSX and I use the same profiles on both sims too without issue so not sure why you would have problems switching between the two.

If you have installed new aircraft then perhaps they aren’t using SIM variables. Are they the same aircraft you were using in FSX?

Re: FS9

I was sort of suggesting it was time to upgrade so you will have less issues and have better support for stuff. Yours will eventually be unsupportable. Why so touchy On the subject

Good luck to you...

Re: FS9

2004! I guess you won’t be getting MSFS2020 anytime soon. Are you running a 2004 PC too? :-) You’ll have to use FSUIPC instructions in SPAD to talk to FSUIPC, which in turn talks to the SIM. don’t think SPAD talks directly to the SIM. As a result it’s a lot harder to setup, but that’s to be expected...

Re: Any easy way to do this?

The point of SPAD is that you have full configuration control of every button, switch or dial. Why rely on someone else having done one that may or may not be a perfect match. Not sure your plane even uses standard SIMCONNET variables or custom LVARS. It’s not unreasonable for custom stuff to need c...

Re: Goodbye Spad

You say it works when you don’t use SPAD? So when you do use SPAD I assume you do the reverse and turn of the manufacturers drivers? Um..no? Then you may need to. I also assume you are using an xplane profile in SPAD? or one you created yourself? Unfortunately I don’t have an xplane setup so can’t ...

Re: Saitek FIP side buttons

No point adding stuff you won’t use just for the sake of it. Just add stuff as you need it.

Re: Spad seems to be fighting with something.

If you are getting stock gauges or splash screen then you are hammering your FIPs by pushing data to them through original and SPAD driver at the same time.

You need to remove legacy drivers.
