Re: How do you keep a controller unenabled?

If you unassign each axis and button in FSX and leave enabled in you shouldn’t have any further issues.

Re: How do you keep a controller unenabled?

This has nothing to do with SPAD. FSX automatically assigns functions to buttons and axis on any new controller added to your system. You need to remove the associations in FSX

Re: 25 msec repeater problem

I really wouldn’t recommend repeating button press every 25ms you’ll just flood the sim with 40 commands a second and then everything will just start to lag.

Shouldn’t cause the issue you are having but would keep repeats to tour bare minimum

Re: How to turn panels on & off with a switch

apparently you should be able to use this to open panels exceeding numbers 0-9 according to the P3D gauge api.

Only GOD (SPAD) knows :-) if it should work or not.

Re: How to turn panels on & off with a switch

apparently you should be able to put the Panel ID from the aircrafts Panel.cfg. so Panel_3 should match Panel.cfg so in my case GPS Panel ID should = 2 [Window02] size_mm=456,378 position=6 background_color=0,0,0 visible=1 ident=GPS_PANEL window_size=0.715,0.730 sizeable=1 gauge00=KRON_fs9gps!gps_50...

Re: How to turn panels on & off with a switch

I cant find a way of querying the panel state either.

If you want this on a switch then you can add the toggle to both on and off, but there's no guarantee it wont go out of sequence with the actual switch position.

(will have a play will panel ID to see if I can fathom what those event do)

Re: Saitek Throttle Mod

I’m a big fan of bodnar boards, I have 4 of them in my system and also being able to design and print 3D parts for the controls is also epic. Flight simulation has definitely brought out the creativity in me not only in coding gauges but I never get bored designing and adding to my sim hardware. Tha...

Re: First time installation

It is possible but the recommendation is that you don’t run ANY apps in the simulator startup scripts. Something about sharing RAM and CPU. Best to run in its own memory space. A better way is to create a command batch file to run all the programs you want to run. I have about 8 apps in my batch fil...

Re: First time installation

Hardware doesn’t need to be connected at first use.

But obviously has to be connected before you run SPAD at some point or it won’t see the hardware when you want to start configuring or using the hardware
