Re: Tom Tsui FIP's
c0nnex, just checked and Tom's gauges do appear much smoother again so maybe it wasn't the programming and it was Spad slowing the update rate down. Thanks for the update and the heads up.

Re: Tom Tsui FIP's
No, not using the switcher as it is designed for the Saitek/Logitech driver and not for SpadNext. The update rate on some gauges like the attitude indicator and the altimeter are not smooth in operation and increase or decrease in steps rather than smoothly moving. For example the altimeter seems to...

Re: Tom Tsui FIP's
I'm running some of Tom's gauges in some of my profiles and they are all working fine. I run them through SpadNext and have never had any issue with them (apart from a slowish refresh rate compared to the FIPGauges ones i run.

Re: Radio knobs too fast
c0nnex, Thanks, the alpha update and ability to set the poll rate on the radio panel has fixed one of the main issues i have been facing trying to easily set frequencies without too large of a jump or too much sensitivity. I am using a poll rate of 100ms and it is lovely and smooth. As i get used to...

Re: simconnect
I get the same thing and think it may be that when P3D crashes SimConnect is not closed and continues to sit in the background doing nothing. If you shut down Spad and restart both Spad still wont see the info from the new P3D session. The only way to fix it ( for me) is to reboot the flight sim com...

Re: Any easy way to do this?
Just use the default Simconnect profile. While it is for 4 engines it works with the Carenado C172N.

Re: Prepar3D v5 and SPAD.next
I have installed Spad both on my main FS computer and on the networked one which basically runs my FIPs and panel and both are working. You need to manually copy across the appropriate bridge file(s) and edit the dll.xml to start the bridge files but it working fine with my A2A C182. Plane detection...

Re: ADF inactive to active
It depends on the aircraft and how it is modelled. For the default aircraft it is possible to display the standby freq on the right display, adjust the value with the knobs and then use the button to transfer between standby and active. Some add on aircraft either directly change the active freq or ...

Re: KeyPress not working
Which exact button are you trying to assign? I have pause assigned to one of my throttle quadrant buttons and it is working fine. I am running Spad on a client machine and P3Dv4.4 on the server machine. I'll upload my assignment as a snippet

Re: KeyPress not working
I just gave it a try in P3D V4 with FS Flying school and allocated CRTl+SHIFT+Z and CTRL+SHIFT+D to a spare throttle quadrant button and it worked fine. I also use button presses for some yoke buttons that change view settings ( i couldn't find the event name to do it so just went with the button co...
