Re: Potentiometer with Leobodnar BU0836X
The potentiometer will appear as an axis in spad.next which you can control a slider and will give a value of -16384 to +16384 depending on position. You will need to find the dimming variable of the a320 and then use the axis value and adjust this to the span and direction of the dimming variable. ...

Re: How do you keep a controller unenabled?
Les, FSX allows you to disable controllers too! Just my install is not working and I can't figure out why! Daz, Yes by unassigning every axis and button and leaving enabled I shouldn't have an issue but I do. On fsx launch with spad next it puts on full throttle. When I unassign the throttle is then...

Re: How do you keep a controller unenabled?
USB hubs etc are stable and no updates interfering. When I launch FSX independently the controller stays unenabled but if I use spad.next it enables every time.... I do not understand either. Maybe it's simstarter or an addon. How do you permanently stop a controller from enabling? Is there a way? I...

Re: How do you keep a controller unenabled?
Daz, I have removed all axis and button associations and unenabled applied and closed FSX. If I launch FSX w/o simconnect then the BU0386 doesn't re-enable If I then launch FSX with simconnect the BU0386 then re-enables Does SpadNext do anything with the controls.xml and current.xml? I am wondering ...

How do you keep a controller unenabled?
Hello Spadders in the expert Hardware section! I have an issue. It seems to be linked to Spad.Next I use FSX and win7 64bit I have a BU0386 I use for extra axis/buttons. Sometime when I launch the sim then FSX will enable the BU0386 and assign new buttons and axis to things I didn't want. When I dis...

Re: How to turn panels on & off with a switch
Hi Daz, Thanks for trying. Yes I am living with the toggles on both on an off as you describe below but it is nice to program things how you want. Its a generic question because I have lots of aircraft where it would be useful to pop the panel/gauge as per panel config window open close on a switch....

How to turn panels on & off with a switch
Hi Spadders, What I would like to do is use a button to switch a pop up panel on an off. This is a generic question as I have a number of panels I wish to switch on and off at times. This specific panel is a GPS on panel 3. I'd like to switch this on or off with an on/off button. (or view--> instrum...

Re: FIP not seen in SPAD any more.
Daz, Thanks for your help but all sorted now as i mentioned earlier. Description was to help others who might need clues with FIP problems. Yes one FIP. It is connected by a hub. It was not allowing the saitek driver package to proceed as when you connected midway as instructed. First i disconnected...
