FSLabs A320 Using custom axis ranges clockwise and counterclockwise

Hi all, I am trying to simulate potmeter action by having only "increase" and "decrease" rotorbrake codes available for FSLabs. With the SpadNext custom axis ranges functions I can sort of make it work by having a repeated "decrease" input in the nearly closed range. Then through increasing ranges i...

Re: Custom offsets, local FSUIPC.XML no longer works RESOLVED

Ok this is very embarrassing. My problem above turns out to be completely self inflicted. Somehow I managed to corrupt the second last line of my own local FSUIPC.XML file. This was why it was not recognised by Spad.Next. As I did not intentionally change my XML, I was not looking for the problem he...

Custom offsets, local FSUIPC.XML no longer works

Hi all, For my homecockpit I use custom FSUIPC offsets. For quite some time I have been using the local FSUIPC.XML to have these offsets selectable by SpadNext. However since yesterday none of the custom offsets are showing in the UI. I have tried to put the XML at different locations as this had to...

Re: Who's using Arduino's

I have 4 Mega2560's on order. I have 1 Uno that I have just started to experiment with using Mobiflight. It would however be great if I could use them with SpadNext. SpadNext is already controlling several LeoBodnar BBI32's and Packled64 cards. My plan is to build 2 A320 MCDUs with the Mega2560, to ...

Re: Custom Axis configuration and Rotorbrakes again

Hi David,

Thanks, I have successfully done this with FSUIPC. I was wondering if this method works with SPADNEXT as well...using the Custom Axis configuration feature..will it differentiate between moving through a range clockwise and anti clockwise?

Custom Axis configuration and Rotorbrakes again

Hi all, Does anybody know if, when using the Range definition in Custom Axis Configuration, I can assign a different rotorbrake code depending on whether I move the Axis clockwise or counterclockwise through a set Range. I'm trying to control the brightness of a VC display that I can only control wi...

Re: FSLabs 320 VC dimming knob using rotorbrake codes

I have tried but have not been very successful so far. I couldn't figure out how to assign different actions to the same range depending on wether the range was entered via an increase or a decrease. I will spend some more time on it soon.

FSLabs 320 VC dimming knob using rotorbrake codes

Probably this is not going to work and I have to replace my Potmeter axis by a rotary encoder. But I thought lets give it a try... Rotorbrake codes for ECP upper display dimming are 77025 to increase and 77024 to decrease Is there a clever way to use a potmeter axis to control this VC dimming switch...

Re: FLIGHTSIMLABS A320

You are very welcome. The pixel detection requires the applicable screens to be displayed continuously....most likely not the most practical solution for most most people...but impressive achievement for sure. My understanding is that we have to wait for an SDK release from FSLabs to get better full...
