What about something like this? Seems like multiple driver options or none and you have to program it via your own products??

Supports RGB or Mono LEDs

So will it be seen by SPAD? If so which software controller do I order? Or do I order the none option?

Seeing it seems like its more then just me now asking about the boards, Ulrich are you able to support both controller firmware versions?

16 RGB outputs per board is not many and lots of indicators are just on/off no color change needed.

Sometimes things move fast ;)

I am in contact with the developer of that board.
He told me that this board is no longer produced and is going out of lifecycle, however there is a new product he provides:

http://www.nledshop.com/pixelion/
https://www.nledshop.com/index.php?main ... ucts_id=33

Which is able to achieve what you want to do (building your own BIP :-D )

LED Pixes that can be used see e.g.
https://www.nledshop.com/index.php?main ... ucts_id=47
or
https://www.nledshop.com/index.php?main ... &cPath=2_7

The controller uses a custom serial protocol, but i'm ready implement it...

Up to 170 RGB-Pixels ( = BIP with 170 Plates ;) ) are supported. Only very small soldering to wire up the LED-Pixels would be needed:
flight-sim-thing.png
The developer offered me a noticeable discount for the controller for our special purpose (dropping the accelerator as they are not needed). If there is interest in build custom BIP using this controller, I'll negotiate the price with him.

Taking the list prices to build a BIP ( 24 Pixels ) without Housing and power supply:
Controller $25 + 5x $8 (25 Pixels selfsoldering) = $65
Controller $25 + 50Pixel no soldering Strand $50 = $75

Amazing list price already imho. I'll ask him for a SPAD.neXt bundle price for Stripped down controller + 50Pixel Strand.

So if guys are interested .... Let me know

Nota Bene:
I ordered the controller + 48 LEDs Strip , for implementation. So you can expect that controller being supported soon.
($69 including shipping to Germany .... That's 2 BIP wich would be $250+ in total ;) )

Hi Ulrich,
Thank you for your work and I would be looking at Controller + 50Pixel no soldering Strand.
I await the price you may be able to get us and how to let them know we are from the group.

May also be looking at a full system of 170 for my Christmas lights.
