I thought people might find this helpful in getting started. I'm using the Carenado Beech Baron in X-Plane 11 and this goes into a fair bit of detail on how to map the buttons and switches.

(P.S. If the embed doesn't work, try this link instead.)

With X-Plane running the Eclipse 550, Event Monitor returns a variable I'm interested in: sim/autopilot/level_change, with values 0,1 and 2.
Where do I go from here?
If I try to assign this variable to a button and I search the list of variables under "XPLANE", "sim/autopilot/level_change" is nowhere to be found.
If I try to create a local variable "Local:LEVEL_CHANGE", it does not work.
Can I add it myself elsewehere?

You can do this by adding the datarefs yourself. Search for 'x-plane add custom datarefs'. I will try to be more specific later when I can remember how I did it for the REP :)

Added it for the Eclipse 550. Should be available next time you start SPAD.neXt

Hi everyone I am fairly new to spad.next I just got the pro flight yoke and throttle quadrant and switch panel for some reason with P3d when I set the throttle to only engine 1 it still controls both engines.... (prop does control engine 2 throttle properly) why is this? is it still P3d that has the bindings memorized for the throttle for engine 1 to control both engines?
