[FAQ] License Hardware Lock

The SPAD.neXt license is locked to the computer you activated the license on.

If you are about to :
  • Change any hardware component
  • Upgrade your OS (e.g. upgrading to Windows 10)
  • Move the Simulator to a different computer
  • Request a refund (talk to me first, please!)
it is recommended that you deactivate your license before doing so.
To deactivate your License just start SPAD.neXt, head to Settings|Registration and press the "Deactivate License" Button.
After doing so, you are free to change any component.
When you are done, you can "activate" your License on a new computer (or even the same one) using the data from the License-Confirmation email you got when registering SPAD.neXt.

If you are about to request a refund, deactivation prior to it is a must. No deactivation , No refund.
Generally a refund is only granted for serve reasons, since SPAD.neXt has a free of charge 14-days fully featured trial mode. Please make use of that before registering your copy.

If for any reason you forget to deactivate the license, or SPAD.neXt does not recognize your license anymore please contact me at support @ spadnext.com . Please include a detailed description of the problem, your hardware id (found at Setting|Registration) as well as your order number (Either SimMarket or Avangate) and the email used to order. A total number of 3 (free of charge) administrative license-unlocks will be granted. After that a proof of the evidence is required and additional charges might apply.

Locked
